Initially we were confused about the titles relation to the image but after discussing it we think its an interesting way of conveying inner beauty/beauty being in the eye of the beholder. It is an interesting amalgamation of sexuality and culture.

The image is really strong and provoking well staged and executed. The only fault we found was that the title doesn't say enough about the image. The appropriate could have directed and enhanced our reading of the image.

We think is about how our ideas of beauty and gender norms are so different from cultures outside of the western world.

It's a really beautiful image. Simple and effective and executed very well. The name is more about the person than the concept of the image but it still works.

The title is simple. Photoshopping is very very good, and the overall atmosphere of the image is quite good. impact of the image is strong, and the idea is clear. interesting image.

We really love this image, the composition and lighting are really well executed,as well as the colouring.

The message isn't black and white clear, which is nice as it is very intriguing. We think it is about the amalgamation of cultures and gender... ie blurred lines between the two

Great image, very intriguing. Shows distortion of the body and gender blur. Extremely well executed high-five.

We like the blur between the gender boundaries, and the use of the title 'Max' - which could be either a male or female name. The image is beautiful compositionally, we don't fully understand the concept because we see both a gender clash and a cultural clash - but it is very thought provoking!

Striking. Good composition and lighting. Clashing of cultures and gender is what we get from this image.

shows clear conflict of culture and gender. Makes us question cultural appropriation of female dress on a man- acceptable or offensive? Guess it depends on cultural context. Very interesting.

We see a mix of gender and culture in this image. Not sure of overall concept but is very intriguing and techniqually professional. Very well done.

Very well-executed image, and concept it not entirely clear, which makes us want to know more. Perhaps a comment on culture and gender? The necklaces, while portraying a certain culture, could also be a comment on how people change their body to adapt to certain trends.
